Job Description
This position is responsible to plan, direct and coordinate professional electrical designs as part of the complete design process to meet client specific requirements.

Qualifications
Degree/ Technical Diploma or NQF Equivalent
3 - 6 years operational and design experience (inclusive of relevant design program exposure)
At least 3 years experience in the Mining Industry
Knowledge of international electrical and instrumentation specifications and standards
Comprehension of relevant SANS standards
Knowledge of Mines Health and Safety Act and OHS Act will be advantageous
Technical product knowledge
Knowledge of intelligent motor starters specifically Simocode, TSysT and E300
Knowledge of Siemens, Schneider and Rockwell VSDs and Soft Starters
Knowledge of ISO9001 and compilation/maintenance of safety files will be advantageous
Knowledge of ISO14001 and compilation/maintenance of safety files will be advantageous
Knowledge of ISO45001 and compilation/maintenance of safety files will be advantageous
