Electrical Site Foreman

LOCATION

Bellville, Cape Town

SALARY

R18 000 – R20 000 per month

SUMMARY

Our Client from the Electrical industry is seeking a Site Foreman.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Effective planning of teams, ensuring efficient use of the Team’s time (to be fully productive) to complete work in the shortest time and ensure targets are reached.
Quality control of the physical works and installations on site.
Overseeing outstanding work per project.
Attending site meetings
Conducting AMTs, Inspections, and testing and compiling reports.
Conducting soil resistivity surveys
Control installation of materials and equipment to ensure compliance with drawings and site specifications
On-site supervision of various larger projects as required. This may require you to stay on site (out of town) until the project is complete
Stock control Administration and paperwork, relating to your position and related duties. All paperwork to be submitted timeously, in a neat and accurate manner
Ensure compliance with all requirements on site regarding health, safety and environmental policies, manuals and procedures
Safety aspects may be required from time to time
Adhere to the company’s dress code on site, including safety clothing and equipment as per the MOS Act Safety Regulations and other Company Safety regulations

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Matric
Experience – 5 years minimum experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
Preferably Construction Industry / Earthing and Lightning Protection Systems knowledge.
