SUMMARY

Our client in Paarl has an exciting role available in their workshop for an Electrician.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Builds electrical panels according to specifications.
Performs electrical fault finding on electrical systems of machines consisting of power supplies, VSD’s, PLCs, Servos, Solenoids, relays, breakers etc.
Wiring of all equipment in production.
Wiring and set-up of VSD’s.
Responsible for quality inspections on electrical systems of manufactured machines.
Electrical maintenance on buildings and equipment.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum qualification: N3 + Electrician trade test
Minimum of four (4) years experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with panel building, machine wiring, wiring and set-up of VSD’s.
Must be a team player as well as have the ability to work independently.
Must be willing to work overtime and travel nationally as well as internationally as required.
Valid driver’s license – Code B
