Requirements

A minimum qualification in Electronic Engineering equivalent qualification (Non-negotiable)
Have a minimum of 3 years in the design and development of electronic systems
Hardware experience: Analogue and Digital Design (PCB and Schematic)
Firmware Development experience with Embedded Systems and C
Working experience within the specific engineering discipline, with relevant exposure to design and implementation, design methodologies, design baseline management, system engineering aspects
Solid Hardware (electronics ) experience in Analogue and Digital Design. This involves Schematic and PCB Design
Solid Firmware development experience with Embedded Systems
Experience in Compliance Testing for Certifications of Product
Ability to write or modify PC Based Software
Ability to plan a project accurately given a complete specification
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally within departments with the Company
An eagerness to embrace change and previously unused technologies
Strong communication skills
Ability to work in a team
Strong attention to detail and Problem Solving

Job Description

The ideal candidate would be responsible for research and development of new products for a hybrid solution.
The job will involve design and development of electronic equipment from initial concept to a fully qualified, robust prototype using sound engineering principles.
Design of electronic products from concept, technology research, full technical product specification, design of schematic and PCB using design software, design of firmware, right through, to a fully qualified, robust prototype.
Full spectrum bench-testing and verification, environmental verification and Electromagnetic Compliance verification.
Liaising with the CEO, Engineer and Software Developer to get the product fully industrialized.
Product Documentation on Specifications, Manuals, changes, etc.
Firmware Development.
Liaising with the Engineer and Software Developers to integrate components into complete systems.
