Engineering Mechanical Solidworks Draftsman West Rand JHB
Mechanical B-Tech or Mechanical Diploma is preferred
Must have very good Solidworks Mechanical drafting working experience is required
Must have very good 3D CAD Modelling and drafting working experience
Minimum 5+ years’ working experience in Mechanical Drafting in an Engineering Manufacturing Environment
Solidworks certification preferable
Assist the mechanical design department in detailing and completing 3D designs.
Develop detailed manufacturing drawings for existing and new designs.
Develop detailed layout and installation drawings for existing and new designs.
Interface with Engineers and Production Managers to find optimal manufacturing methods for components and sub-assemblies.
Bill of materials.
Issue formal requests to the Procurement Department from the BOM.
Read and interpret, technical drawings, schematics.
Work to Company CAD and PDM standards.
Designs and drawings must be done to applicable ISO, SABS and Customer Standards.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent problem solving and time management skills
Good mechanical aptitude and knowledge
Able to work under pressure and to deadlines
Self-motivated and highly organized
Salary R20 000- R35 000 - Market Related
