Must have Min. 5 years’ experience gained in the role of Management OR Senior Supervisor position as a Warehouse Stores Logistic Manager within a manufacturing production engineering company is essential
Must have gained working experience in innovation product engineering industry
Must have at least 5 years minimum experience in Dispatch and Receiving while having innovative mind-set to continuously improve environment within a engineering product manufacturing company is essential.
Working experience in buying and Stores technical engineering products, Eg: mechanical, electrical, electronic etc. fabrication , conveyors, manufacturing engineering plant items and engineering materials etc. Develop and implement best practice repair and stock management processes
Supplier Relationship and Procurement
Demand Management (customer service and order processing), Supply Management (procurement planning and inventory)
Perform Parts Consumption Analysis to determine required Inventory Stock and establish a reliable
Inventory forecasting system; warehouse stores Stock Management
Ensure management of stock statuses are effectively managed and ensure Warehouse function
Define the strategy for the receipt and import of product function into Warehouse and ensure successful implementation
Distribution Management
Working experience in Driving the Receiving Warehouse and Dispatching and Shipping and Distribution
Develop a long-term plan to ensure sufficient stock of completed goods in the Central Warehouse for warehouse to monitor and optimise spares
Gained working experience in all logistics; imports, exports, local road / rail freight, shipping terms etc.
Extremely Computer literate and fully skilled to implement new in-house warehouse system oneself
Working experience gained in creditors and invoices
Execute procurement of engineering manufacturing finished goods + raw materials from suppliers
Find best product for best price from reliable vendors
Strong working relationships with suppliers to confirm lead-times and monitor open purchase orders for orders on time deliveries
Report product and material availability issues
Must be able to start immediately or within 1 week
Full computer literacy in many programs/ systems regarding warehouse and logistics systems
Driver’s License and own transport.
Salary Package up to R 40 000 Gross full cost to company -market related
