Required minimum Qualifications and Experience
Grade 12
Certificate as an Enrolled Nurse
Registration with SANC essential
Computer literacy
COVID-19 vaccinator training on knowledge HUB
Basic Life support training
Implementation of vaccinations in a Health Care Setting
Performing Vital Signs and monitoring patients post vaccination and/or other procedures
Knowledge of Emergency procedures

Desired Experience
Training on how to set up an Ideal COVID-19 Vaccination Centre
Cold Chain Management
Anaphylaxis Management

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Assist with registration, history taking and post vaccination care and treatment
Monitor patient for complications
Report all complications to the Registered Nurse
Implement care during a medical emergency
Maintain Infection Control Practices
Ensure all equipment is in working order
Ensure adequate supplies of daily consumables
Wearing of epaulettes and name badges are compulsory
Ensure patient confidentiality
Safekeeping of patient records
Record information as per programmatic requirements
Keep the area clean and tidy for patients during post vaccination monitoring
Ensure patients have their return dates and know what to do in the event of side effects or other complications
