Job Summary:

Accurate estimating on Spreadsheets and Starfront to give quotes in accordance to the AAAMSA and SAGGA regulations, as well as processing MTO orders on SAP (ERP System)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurate estimating on Starfront and Spreadsheets to give quotes in accordance to AAAMSA and SAGGA regulations.
• Communication with customers to fully understand the special requirements to drive first time right.
• Provide technical product advice to clients.
• Building and maintaining effective communication with internal and external clients.
• Adhering to prescribed administration practices
• Efficiently use internal systems, processes and procedures
• Taking and placing “Made to Order” (MTO) sales orders with extreme accuracy
• Create BOMS and Load MTO orders on SAP
• Create job cards and cutting lists for the factory (out of Starfront)
• Working closely with the production functions on MTO’s


Minimum Job Requirements: This describes the knowledge, skills and abilities that are required

• Grade 12/ Tertiary certificate in Building and Design/Related and or Civil Engineering.
• Some sort of Aluminium product knowledge.
• Knowledge of AAAMSA and SAGGA regulations.
• Technical inclined and an ability to understand technical drawings.
• Computer Literate – SAP (added advantage), MS Office Suite, Starfront, etc.
• Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and telephone skills.
• Very good interpersonal skills – Including conflict resolution.
• strong coordination skills in terms of time management, planning and execution.
• Analytical and detail orientated.
• Accurate with figures.
• Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure.
• GP Based quoting with regard for product costings
