EXECUTIVE CHEF – Rosebank (Gauteng)
Pick Me Recruitment is looking for a talented, young Executive Chef with strong leader skills, a mature mindset, wanting to make his / her mark in the food world and use this opportunity as their spring board to fame. This modern, all-day eatery and wine bar is nestled in the heart of Rosebank’s foodie district.
The perfect individual is someone with exceptional culinary skills, with a love for food, experience in running and managing high-end restaurants, quality driven, a leader, stable and able to perform under pressure.
Minimum Requirements and Key Responsibilities
• A formal Culinary Education
• Minimum of 3 years‘ experience as a Head Chef at a high-end local or international restaurant
• Exceptional culinary skills
• Responsible for menu planning and costing recipes, food consumption, strict stock controls, stock management, stock movement, rotation, ordering and supplier liaison
• Excellent control of food cost, wastage and kitchen preparation
• Ongoing staff training and development
• Ensuring the team has high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport
• Proven track record with examples and references
• Matric

Remuneration: R30 000 - R40 000 Gross
