EXPERIENCED EVENTS CO-ORDINATOR – Upmarket Estate near Franschhoek

Our client, an upmarket estate near Franschhoek is looking to hire an experienced Events Coordinator to join a vibrant team. The ideal individual is strong in decision-making, communication and has initiative and attention to detail.

Previous experience specifically in coordinating large scale weddings, corporate events and celebrations is essential.

Minimum requirements:
• Relevant. tertiary qualification
• Be able to work under pressure
• Must have good organisation and communication skills
• Must have previous experience with stock control and staff management and supplier liaison
• Own Transport and driver’s license
• Able to work weekends and public holidays
• Applicants must reside in the Winelands area

Main responsibilities and duties:

• Client Liaison : Receiving enquiries / Sending out packages and information
• Site Visits /Completion of info to build initial quote for sign off by Events Manager, sending out of initial quotes
• Assisting Events Manager in obtaining quotations for procurement
• Overseeing Venue items and keeping control of stock / keeping a check on venues and surrounds and informing maintenance of any issues
• Set up and Strike oversight of suppliers and assist with own set up plus make sure
• that the Venue is ready and prepared
• On the day operations assistance of the actual event including actual liaison with outside co-ordinators and making sure all is in place from the Venue side
• Assistance with Operations at special Estate Events

Remuneration: R16 000 + (Dependant on experience)
