Experienced Liquor Sales Representative

Job brief:

We’re looking for a results-driven Liquor Sales Representative to actively seek out and engage customer prospects.

What does a Liquor Sales Representative do?

You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Present, promote, and sell the company’s alcoholic products (dry gin, whiskeys, and bitters) using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
Reach out to customer leads through cold calling.
Execute trade initiatives ensuring that volume and activation targets are achieved consistently.
Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
Ensure that all opportunities are identified to maximize business portfolio growth.
Contribute towards the achievement of key brand volumes/objectives/strategies and distribution targets set and communicated on a quarterly/yearly basis focusing on strategically important leading and priority brands.
Possess a passion and understanding of dry gin, whiskeys, and bitters allowing you to maximize shares at key outlets.
Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.
Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales, and status reports.
Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, the potential for new products, and routes that were covered for the day and new verifications & outlets signed up.
Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
Continuously improve through feedback.
Perform other duties as requested by management and the business.
Inherent Requirements:

Proven work experience of at least 4 years as a Liquor Sales Representative.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with the ability to build productive business professional relationships
Strong commercial ability to make good judgments and take quick decisions.
Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in liquor sales.
Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills.
Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience’s needs.
Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
Marketing degree or equivalent required.
