We are currently recruiting for a Field Sales Team Leader within a very established non-profit Organisation. As part of the Marketing and Sales division of the organisation, the Field Sales Representatives are the ambassadors of the organisation in South Africa - focusing particularly on raising awareness with and funding from clients in public spaces, like retail malls and shopping centre etc. We are looking for a skilled and experienced individual who can lead the team in Cape Town with a specific focus on increased sales.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
? Minimum Grade 12 / Matric
? A relevant tertiary qualification will be an advantage
? Must have own reliable transport and a valid driver’s licence (not negotiable)
? Proven track record in sales
? Experienced and skilled in managing sales / sales team (small teams)
? Fundraising experience, including face-to-face fundraising experience is an advantage
? Previous work and/or volunteerism at an NGO or charity is an advantage
? Have the ability to inspire people through outstanding verbal communication and interpersonal skills
? Communication skills - Fluent in English (one other official South African language- will be an advantage)
? Unshakable drive and motivation to succeed and build your campaign.
? Effective at time management
? Have a strong work ethic, be target motivated and work well under pressure
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Motivate, drive and manage the sales team
? Build rapport with potential donors from the general public, providing an excellent engagement experience.
? Continually improve knowledge and understanding of the Organisations work and, in particular their campaigns.
? Meet daily or weekly targets as prescribed by the Organisations Sales and Marketing Executive.
? Ensure procedures and correct protocols are followed at all times.
? Maintain commitment, motivation and enthusiasm
? Accurately and appropriately record, protect and report fundraising data
? Create public awareness to support the Organisations efforts
? Assist, as required, with initial training and induction of new team members
? Attend regular training, team meetings and discussions for improvement
