External Sales Coordinator - Port Elizabeth
A vacancy exist for an Outside Sales Coordinator within ONE’s Sales Department in Port Elizabeth
In the role as an Outside Sales Coordinator, the successful incumbent will be exposed to and expected to do the following:
Responsible for planning and development of sales activity for a specific business segment within a Region.
Develop customer relationships and negotiate terms with customers in a designated sales area, supporting the maximization of NP from the Region.
Take the initiative to identify and develop new business opportunities (with both new and existing customers) to support this objective.
Visit new and existing customers within designated sales area to negotiate prices, securing best cargo mix to meet the various volume and NP/NPI targets set as per Sales plan / Game Plan / budget I ADP.
Develop customer relationships to maximize sales results and ensure optimal customer service, in collaboration with inside sales, customer service and credit control.
Visit planning and ensure correct follow-up in collaboration with other areas in
Compile and communicate market information for use by Regional Sales Management
To meet and exceed required Volume Targets set my Sales Management for respective Trades.
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERTISE
Matric (Grade 12) Certificate, In possession/studying towards a Diploma, Degree or relevant Qualification
Computer Literacy (Good understanding of google sheets,pivot table etc)
Analytical, Energetic, Self driven and self motivated,
Must be prepared to work outside normal office hours so as to ensure all customer queries are met.
1-3 years of relevant professional shipping experience preferably within Sales Environment.
