Overview
An established company is looking for an External Sales Engineer to Collaborate with the SM and/or MD to establish and recommend the most realistic sales goals for the Company. Manage an assigned sales area and key products to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives. To build the sales market and Customer relationship within your assigned sales area. Find the new business and customers by Product cross selling. Find new industries for the company’s Products. Drive old business (MRO) and new business (projects) to HQ for technical and commercial assistance.

Minimum Requirements:
South African Matric standard 10 / grade 12.
N3 in Electronics, Millwright, or 5 years electrical experience.
Should have an understanding in the electrical sales industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for regional sales financial objectives by effective forecasting & achieving targets.
Preparing an annual sales budget with the SM and/or MD.
Preparing an annual product budget with SM and/or MD.
Required to hit or exceed set out monthly or quarterly sales targets.
Scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information.
Identify trends that effect current and future growth of regional sales and profitability and disseminate information to Head Sales.
Record the sales opportunities in CRM and work towards conversion to orders and try to achieve a hit rate as per corporate policy.
Building and maintaining relationships with key customers; EPCs, End users, OEMs etc. and identifying new customer opportunities.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities i.e., SAFA; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.
Coordination of Effective business presentation with all customers.
EMS - Awareness and participating in EMS Programs / Initiatives by adhering to the instructions / operation control procedures
