A company based on the East Rand is seeking an enthusiastic External Sales Rep with a proven track record in sales, cold calling and canvassing with a minimum of 5 years experience as an External Sales Rep in a technical/industrial field. Technical knowledge is required to a level of understanding technology in machinery such as printers, copiers, conveyors, etc. Work environment will be similar to manufacturing/packaging plants/factories. The ideal candidate must be aware and have knowledge of how to engage in proper business prospecting, sales funnels and short and long term project processes. Own reliable transport is essential as a large amount of travel will be required as far as MPUMALANGA and NEIGHBOURING SA countries. This candidate must be computer literate in MS Office, have good administrative skills, have a stable work record and must be matriculated (Grade 12) preferably with a tertiary qualification in Sales and Marketing. Package offered R16000 – R19000 basic (last salary dependent) + commission + car allowance of R6000 + 13th cheque + pension + medical aid + petrol and maintenance + cell phone + laptop.
