ProStaffSelect is recruiting for an Assistant Restaurant Manager / Snr Butler person for this luxury Private Residence in the Paarl Winelands. We are looking for extremely well spoken, articulate and well-presented candidates with experience within 5* Hotel and Restaurant operations.

Minimum Requirements:
Hotel School / Hospitality / Butlers Diploma
Specialisation qualification in F&B Service, Wines of the World, Hot & Cold Beverages
Proficiency MS office – word, excel, outlook as well as F&B Point of Sale systems
Minimum 5 years’ experience at a similar level at a 5 star or full-service hotel.
Candidates must be young, attractive with exceptional personal hygiene, regret no over 30's
Own transport absolutely essential.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with sending and serving all food courses and alcoholic beverages.
Set-up of the Villa for Breakfast inside or on the terrace. Guests averaging 28 - 36 throughout the year.
Formal Dinners served (3 - 5 courses) fine dining with paired wines.
Host and serve guests mainly in the restaurant while the Head Butler attends to accommodation and all suite requirements.
Assist with a variety of different work situations and the assist the team in other areas when needed
Liaise with kitchen staff and head chef regarding the owners and guests food preferences, updating daily guest preference, likes and dislikes etc.
Organize the service of food and beverages: arrange table setting, room service and welcome drinks at any time the owner is welcomed in the residence.
Maintain clean and hygienic restaurant and public areas at all times.
Take regular stock of all beverages, place orders and do stock controls.
Maintain ongoing invoicing for guests charges separate to owners allocation of accounts. Finalise billing and restaurant charges for non-guests.
Follow through with the owner needs until they are completed to the total satisfaction, with each food course and/or beverages.
Responsible for all Villa and company assets and resources available including awareness of high cost artworks, sculptures, including vintage cars.
Completely familiar with all different types of service offered at the Villa when requests and able to train subordinates in Silver Service, American, Family Service Buffet, Silver Service Buffet, Drinks Service.

R18 000 - R20 000 cost to company
