The incumbent will be responsible for the day to day running of the clubhouse which includes the Restaurant/Catering and Bar Facilities, in Langebaan, West Coast.

1. General Food planning, management and menu's

2. All Marketing to create and drive revenue and opportunities

3. All Administration regarding Clubhouse; daily reports, complying with SOP's, reports for Operational Meetings, accurate Stock control measures in place and adhered to

3. Facilities Management i.t.o. managing daily operations of the Golf Clubhouse and Restaurant, Active floor management, driving the service levels to build guest loyalty and outstanding service results, Hosting and co-ordinating all big functions and events

4. Staff Management, Ensuring that duty rosters planned in a manner that ensures that overtime is kept to the absolute minimum; Ensuring that the clubhouse is optimally staffed for events and functions as well as quiet time; Recruiting Food and Beverage staff; Training of new and existing staff etc

Requirements:
• Degree/Diploma in Food and Beverage Management or equivalent
• Previous experience in similar job role
• Point of Sale, Microsoft Office & Advanced computer skills
• Ability to deal with guest’s requests, queries and complaints
• Organised, level headed and able to meet deadlines
• Well-groomed, friendly and presentable
• Own transport
• Previous experience in menu design/planning
• Culinary qualification will be advantageous
