Warehouse, Logistic/Supply Chain or Procurement qualification
Min. 5 years working experience in the role of Management of the warehouse/stores and logistics and procurement within and Engineering manufacturing company is essential
5 years’ experience in buying all engineering products, mechanical, electrical, electronic jigs fixtures factory plant items for manufacturing and materials etc. is essential
Develop and implement best practice repair and stock management processes
Supplier Relationship and Procurement
Demand Management (customer service and order processing), Supply Management (procurement planning and inventory)
Perform Parts Consumption Analysis to determine required Inventory Stock and establish a reliable
Inventory forecasting system; warehouse stores Stock Management
Ensure management of stock statuses are effectively managed and ensure Warehouse function
Define the strategy for the receipt and import of product function into Warehouse and ensure successful implementation
Distribution Management
Drive the Receiving Warehouse and Shipping and Distribution
Develop a long-term plan to ensure sufficient stock of completed goods in the Central Warehouse for warehouse to monitor and optimise spares
Gained 5 years working experience in all logistics; imports, exports, local road / rail freight, shipping terms etc.
Extremely Computer literate and fully skilled to implement new in-house warehouse system oneself
Working experience gained in creditors and invoices
Execute procurement of engineering manufacturing finished goods + raw materials from suppliers
Find best product for best price from reliable vendors
Assist with estimates / quotes for project bidding / tenders
Strong working relationships with suppliers to confirm lead-times and monitor open purchase orders for orders on time deliveries
Proactively report product and material availability issues
Ensure all materials are received on time
Gained experience in management in this Industry in warehouse and logistics
Gained experience personally looking after stores and warehouse experience and responsibilities
Must be able to start immediately or within 1 week
Must have a driver’s license and own transport
Salary Package up to R 40 000 Gross full cost to company -market related
