Fibre Technician Wanted for an ISP in Stellenbosch

Role and Responsibilities:
- Ability to put up trunking neatly
- Experience in pulling cable
- Experience in trenching / laying cables and / piping in the ground
- Capable of doing fibre network diagrams
- Knowledge of doing fibre installs in buildings and areas
- Must be able to drive consistency, quality, suitability and cost-effectiveness across all projects
- Must take pride in your work
- Must have some health and safety knowledge
- Ad-hoc duties


Requirements for this position:
- Minimum Grade 11
- Medically fit & able to work at heights and confined spaces
- Presentable and friendly composure towards clients
- Hand skills and working knowledge of hand tools
- Attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies
- Ability to read, speak and write in Afrikaans and English
- Good interpersonal skills and comfortable dealing with clients
- Punctuality
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Great sense of ownership and accountability
- Must be a fast learner and inquisitive
- Ability to be proactive and solve problems with minimal assistance
