a stationery company is looking for a field marketer working within the sales team in the designated Western Cape Area,includes the Westcoast but not limited to Oranjemund (Namibia), vredendal, Saldhana, Labertsbay, Langebaan. the aim of this function is to develop new business and service existing customers within the Region.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Service the needs of existing customers and collecting customer feedback
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximise satisfaction
• Merchandising and adhering to the required merchandising standards and/or layouts of stores
• Responsible for the achievement of sales targets and goals
• Establish, maintain and expand customer base
• Building the brand and negotiating the best possible space and exposure
• Logging daily customer contact on CRM
• Returns management by monitoring and controlling returns
• Assist with trade shows, deliver stock as and when required
• Compiling sales figures and analysing sales figures and report shortfalls to Area Manager
• Take responsibility of company vehicle in terms of day to day maintenance and adherence of vehicle policy thereof.

Minimum Requirements:
• Grade 12 with exemption pass
• Minimum 1-2 years’ FMCG Sales Rep experience
• Valid code 08 drivers’ licence
• Must be willing to travel and sleep out as and when required
• FMCG sales experience essential
• Computer literate
