Our Client, is seeking the services of a Field Service Technician to start as soon as possible in Brits.

Qualifications & Experience:

-Agricultural machinery background is essential

-5 - 10 years Years Technical Experience (Agricultural)

-Good technical knowledge of Agricultural Machinery

-Ability to speak and write in both Afrikaans and English

-Driver's Licence  and clean driving record

Performance Expectations:

-Understand and apply appropriate policies and procedures relevant to the position

-Lead meetings, projects and activities in support of company and team goals

-Anticipate problems and take steps to correct issues which may reduce performance

-Maintain proficiency in relevant knowledge skils and the use of applicable equipment

-Accurately and timely accomplish core responsibilities

-Attend during scheduled work times



Core Responsibilities:

-In-Field Technical Technical Support (Agricultural Machines)

-Product Support (Office based and call-out when needed)

-Support sales team at shows and demonstration days

-Dealer/Customer communication and suppport

-Commission of newly delivered product/machines

-Assembly of new machines (Facility located in Brits)

-Assembly/Facility related work and tasks

-Other responsibilities within the scope of this position

-Good interpersonal, written and communication skills

-Ability to work independently with dealers and customers.

-Working knowledge of SAP Business 1/similar

-Willingness to travel a significant amount of time

Working Conditions:

-Often in non-air conditions manufacturing plant environment, some air conditioned office environments, regular outside exposure to seasonal weather extremes

-Positions during the day include, but are not limited to sitting, standing, bending, leaning, stretching, crouching, squatting, stooping, twisting and kneeling

-Motions include, but are not limited to, walking, pushing, pulling, gripping, lifting and arrying of objects up to 30 kg, climbing ladders, negotiating stairways, typing and writing.

-Safety equipment worn as needed is protective clothing, hearing protection, safety glasses, and respirators
