An international organization, specializing in the provision of a wide range of innovative, state-of-the-art technical solutions and systems for access automation and control, is looking for a Service Technician to provide enterprise-level assistance to their customers. You will diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems and help customers to ensure that their system is fully operational.
Key Requirements
• A+ and /or N+ Qualification
• Drivers License – at least 3 years driving experience
• Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role
• Hands-on experience with software/ hardware issues
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
• Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal

Key Responsibilities
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine solutions and implement
• Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues
• Carry out on-site installation, maintenance and repair equipment
• Ensure day-today system performs smoothly
• Perform routine maintenance
• Provide customer/operator support
• Track computer system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits
• Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers
• Prepare accurate and timely reports
