Field Technician position available within well known ISP in Stellenbosch

Role and Responsibilities:
- Installation and upgrades of standard and complex wireless connections
- Configuration of wireless equipment and access points
- Troubleshoot wireless installations, wireless access points and client issues
- Follow up in work done
- Prep installation kits at the office
- Assist with network maintenance and high site upgrades
- Ensure optimal client connection (Sector, signal and speed)
- Ad-hoc duties

Reuirements:
- Minimum Grade 12
- Mikrotik and Ubiquiti experience - 2 years
- Wireless Technician experience - 2 years
- Medically fit & able to work at heights
- Presentable and friendly composure towards clients
- Hand skills and working knowledge of hand tools
- Attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies
- Ability to read, speak and write in Afrikaans and English
- Good interpersonal skills and comfortable dealing with clients
- Punctuality
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Great sense of ownership and accountability
- Must be a fast learner and inquisitive
- Ability to be proactive and solve problems with minimal assistance
- A valid driver’s license and own transport is required.
