The intern will be working closely under the senior bookkeeper where there is huge potential to gain valuable experience.The tasks at hand:
Charging virtual cards
Allocating credit card payments
Assisting with Approval of invoices from Property management system to Xero
Assist reservations team with payment queries and doing refunds
E-billing on Booking portals
Payment sheet control and loading payments
Raising bills on Xero for owner expenses
Assisting with Statements for Owners (Spreadsheet and Xero)
Assisting with Bank recon allocations
Petty cash control
Updating the deposit sheet for PayU
Other duties – Office admin, answering phone, assisting guests over the phone etc.
