My client a well renowned dust mask manufacturer is looking for Financial Accountant to join their team.

Education & Experience Required:
• BComm Finance or Similar
• The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
• Project Financial control experience is preferred
• Manufacturing Industry Experience preferred
• Solid Import/Export Experience
• Working with Forex Accounts
• ERP Skills is essential
• Excellent excel skills
• Strong reconciliation skills

The successful incumbent will be fully accountable all for the Financial affairs/Administration/Risk/Legal and Compliance of the business.
• Full financial management function
• Managing Accounts Receivable
• Managing Accounts Payable
• Reconciliation of Forex Accounts
• Liaising with Banks and negotiation rates thereto
• Managing WIP accounts
• Designing/Creating/Implementing costing mechanisms in the Manufacturing department
• Cash book management, bank reconciliation
• Raising of necessary provisions
• Managing and maintaining the fixed asset register
• Performing month end closing procedures
• Compile management accounts, profitability, budgets and cashflow management
• Preparing weekly/monthly cash forecasts
• Preparation and reconciliation of VAT, PAYE
• Managing Inventory function i.e. Stock counts and costing’s
• Inventory Analysis, Reporting and Disclosure
• Ensuring compliances with internal policies and procedures
• Preparing all BBBEE audit documents
• SARS audits, reviews and correspondence and all other statutories
• Preparation of year-end audit file
• Compiling reports/Schedules as and when required by Management
• Other functions as required by management
