My client is an experienced international wealth management duly authorized and FSB registered to provide financial services in South Africa. Their wealth management expertise provides unbiased financial planning solutions for over 15,000 clients worldwide from our head office in Dubai, with additional offices in the Middle East, Asia and Europe.

The company is looking for experienced investment advisory individuals who can collaborate and help build their established business in Durban, South Africa.

They offer a range of services to help South Africans and expat clients make informed financial decisions to protect their families from unexpected difficulties, to enable them to grow and secure their wealth in the present, and also to preserve it for the future.

Roles & Responsibilities:

* Representing my client’s Financial Consultant Team
* Advise South African citizens and expats in South Africa on Investments, Life Cover, Pensions, Education Plans and Wealth Management solutions
* Scheduling and attending client meetings to work closely to capture evolving short term and long-term client needs which ensures client confidence in the advisor team.
* Pursuing new client relationships.
* Lead and manage a Business Development Manager /Para-planner.
* Lending your strengths toward achieving the shared business vision in collaboration with the internal team.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Ideally have a bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, accounting, law or related subjects. UK level 4 qualified advisors also welcome to apply
* RE5 Financial Services qualifications preferable, but not mandatory
* 1 -2 years managing personal book of clients.
* Proven working experience as an investment adviser or relevant experience
* Track record of successful financial guidance
* Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
* Good Computer and Microsoft Office skills
