Financial Manager.

The Financial Manager manages the day-to-day operation of the Finance Department which includes financial analysis and financial reporting, budgeting/forecasting, audit and control, asset and liability reconciliation, working capital and cash control.

Will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization.

Must be comfortable in handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting.

REQUIREMENTS

Finance and Accounting or related tertiary qualification.

5 years’ experience in the capacity of Finance Manager or equivalent within a 4 star or 5 star Hotel environment.

Self-driven individual with very little financial supervision, be commercially astute with strong leadership qualities.

Very professional with conflict resolution abilities.

Strong leadership skills.

Ability to operate within a highly pressurized environment.

People orientated.

Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills.

Ability to use Initiative.

Proactive and self-driven.

Strong and effective planning and organizing skills to ensure operational efficiencies and effectiveness.

Effective business partnering with shareholders and management.

Proficiency in the following software systems: MS Office with advanced Excell skills, Pastell Partner,

My Inventory, Sage Payroll Professional, Micros Point of Sale and Opera.
