Job Description:

Primarily responsible for financial and management accounting reporting, inventory costings and overseeing financial control environment and processes at the Manufacturing Facilities site.
Management of Factory Finance team (5 people)
Day to Day and Monthly Activities:
Weekly forecast on current month’s performance on volumes, recoveries and overheads of plants
Expense analysis, and review (including signing off all accruals)
Overhead recovery and volume analysis
Overtime accrual and analysis
Preparation and Co-ordination of Items for approval (including ROI and cash flow analysis)
Continuous review and improvement of financial control environment and processes
Review of inventory reconciliations, inventory transactions, provisions, inventory related GL accounts
Review and monitoring of intercompany transactions, and resolution of all queries
Review of customer rebate and royalty calculations
Review of Petty Cash transactions and journals
Review (some aspects preparation) of management packs, financial packs, sustainability packs monthly.
Review of ad-hoc product and raw material costings, as required by business.
Co-ordination and review of new suppliers loaded on system (including review of credit applications for FD sign off).
Co-ordination and review of inventory master data loaded on system (BOM, inventory item, warehouse, cost centres and overhead rates changes)
Co-ordination with HO team (AP team, AR team and financial accountant) to ensure that all processes run smoothly, and all information required from Factories is received on time by HO.
Annual/Quarterly
Annual/Quarterly financial reporting and information for FD and Supply Chain Executive
Quarterly Supply Chain Review Packs preparation, and presentation
Lead and sign off on Quarterly Stock Counts performed at each plant
Annual Division Budget planning, co-ordination, preparation and presentation
Preparation of year end divisional reports/audit requests to be sent to HO
Projects
Activity-based costing analysis and ongoing review of cost allocations
Inventory Master data maintenance

Qualifications:

Qualified Accountant
Financial Degree
5 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment
