Financial Manager/Analyst – Property/Construction

Our top drawer client is looking for a young, dynamic quick-thinker who is looking to make their mark. Must be able to work under severe pressure, be highly energetic and have either property sector experience or construction ….or both!

Qualifications:
• B.Com (Financial Management) or similar ESSENTIAL
• Articles (or part thereof) would be nice, C.A. (SA) would be preferable
• 3 years in similar environment
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English
• Accuracy and detail will be quite crucial.
• Attitude and cultural fit are very important
• Property sector experience and/or Construction industry wouldn’t hurt
• Investment Analysis experience
• Sage Evolution
• ADVANCED EXCEL experience
• BuildSmart (preferable)

Job functions will include the following, but not limited to:

1. Cash flow management (operational entities as well as future investments)
2. Staff management (process management)
3. Monthly reporting to senior management and board of directors
4. Full business analysis (revenue, expenditure, profitability etc.)
5. Working capital management
6. Raise bank funding for developments
7. Raise equity for investments
8. Analyse investment opportunities (both rental and selling schemes)
9. Construction profitability and risk analysis

Responsibilities include:
• Producing accurate financial reports and information
• Developing cash flow statements
• Projecting profit
• Managing credit
• Providing advice in making financial decisions
• Directing investments
• Making financial forecasts
• Budgeting
• Managing risk of financial loss
