Our client a long standing group of attorneys has an opening for a high performing Financial Manager to oversee the day to day financial administration within the group.
A solid background (minimum 5 years exp.) working as a Financial Manager within a professional service industry, preferably legal as prospective candidates must possess a working knowledge of Trust Accounting.
Duties include but not limited to:
Maintaining internal controls, Preparation of Annual Financial Statements, preparation of Audit packs, Drafting of monthly Management Accounts for Directorship.
Manage and motivate a team of five
Liaise and report to Directorship
Ensuring corporate governance, regulatory compliance – Legal Practice Council reports and correspondence.
Providing and maintaining relevant records/documents required for BEE audit, etc
BCom Hons Accounting degree
5 year’s experience in a professional service industry firm (preferably legal)
Attention to detail
Bilingualism (English/Afrikaans)/Excellent communication skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Efficient, Deadline driven
The ability to thrive in a multi-tasking environment.
Remuneration package commensurate with experience.
