Our client, a destination specialist for Southern Africa, is currently looking for a FIT Consultant for the Namibian market.
In this role you would provide excellent service to our agents, quality packages and services to our passengers at their Namibian Branch

Key responsibilities:
• Quote and compile itineraries according to agent requests
• Book all services requested from agent
• Capture bookings in Tour plan and send all requests from Tour plan, confirm all bookings to agent via Tour plan
• Offer alternatives for fully booked properties
• Liaise with overseas agents and local suppliers
• Work closely with tour guides before and whilst on tour
• Assist Team Leader and Divisional Manager as and when required
• Secure business and effectively cost products
• Build up and maintain agent/supplier relationships
• Develop own sales strategy to secure more business
• Quote and design successful, creative itineraries and proposals for all market related ADHOC groups Tour Series and FIT requests
• Capture and confirm bookings in our in-house booking system
• Successfully run groups/tour series / FIT booking
• Prepare guide documentation and brief guide before travel date
• Work closely with tour guides whilst on tour
