Senior Fleet, Distribution & Logistics Manager position based in Hammanskraal - 25 minute drive from Pretoria. The successful candidate must possess the key requirements listed below:

Competently perform the following:
• Manage all outsourced (Owner Drivers) as well as co-owned trucks and vehicles
• Solutions driven
• Daily and weekly reports of transporters (utilising computerised system)
• Assist in the most cost-effective way in the recovery of GKN pallets
• Assist Owner Drivers with costing and route planning and negotiating costs
• Regular inspection of vehicles and roadworthiness
• Travel to Bela Bela and Louis Trichardt on an ad hoc basis

SKILLS
• Computer literate
• Excellent negotiating skills
• Good understanding of the rural market
• Source relevant software solutions to increase effciency
• The candidate requires a strong track record and preferably experience in the FMCG arena

QUALIFICATION
Matric and relevant tertiary qualification
