Key Responsibilities:
The management and co-ordination of the company Food safety certification and pre-requisite programs in terms of:
? Ensuring food is produced that maintain a zero risk for consumers by actively analyzing and testing for microbial risks and certain chemical parameters.
? Ensuring that the highest quality products are produced through regular GMP audits and highest cleaning standards the cleaning, sanitation, hygiene and pest control contracts effectively AIB and FSSC 22 000 compliance and lead all audit preparations Allergen Control Program for the site
? Managing and improve the sites HACCP Program
? Managing plant GMP and microbiological audits
? Conducting food safety training for all staff and contractors

ACCOUNTABILITIES
Enforcing and day to day management of the factory Food safety management system inclusive of food safety parameter testing of
products, equipment and employees
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
? Qualification - Diploma in Food technology/Food science/Microbiology/Chemistry/Quality management
? Experience - 3 years experience on Quality assurance with at least 1 year experience on Food safety management systems.
? 3 Years experience on Microbiological testing and minimum 1 year experience on analytical chemistry will be advantageous.
? Experience in training will be advantageous.
? Experience in a FMCG environment will be advantageous.

Knowledge - Excellent knowledge on Food safety management systems in particular FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP and other food industry related management systems, Knowledge on AIB standards will be advantageous, Knowledge on food manufacturing environments and practices will be advantageous Knowledge on Good laboratory practices and standards will be advantageous, Knowledge on skills development, Computer knowledge, specifically LIMS systems and SAP
