Job Title: Front of House/Front Office Manager
Location: Stellenbosch, South Africa
Salary: R40,000 – R50,000 CTC (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Requirements:
Own reliable transport to and from work
Residence in the vicinity of Stellenbosch/Kuilsriver/Brackenfell area
Qualifications:
Hospitality qualification (diploma/degree)
Preferably 4-5 years of FOH management experience in a 5* environment
Good basic computer and administration skills
Fluent in English
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong customer/guest service orientation
Ability to maintain professional working relationships with all departments
Comfortable dealing with distinguished clientele
Well-presented and enthusiastic
Flexible and accountable
Responsibilities:
Oversee and ensure a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure by managing all aspects of Front Office operations.
Perform duties of guest relations officer, night auditor, and duty manager as needed.
Respond promptly and efficiently to guests' needs and complaints.
Brief colleagues daily on VIPs, site inspections, specific functions, and other relevant information.
Maintain constant communication with relevant departments.
Coordinate and prepare staff rosters to ensure adequate coverage in guest relations.
Enforce appropriate standards of conduct, uniform, language, and grooming for all staff.
Handle all disciplinary actions as necessary.
Conduct monthly meetings and regular petty cash checks/end-of-month reconciliations.
Ensure all current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed and amended if needed.
