ProStaffSelect are in search of a FRONT OFFICE / RESERVATIONS / H/K / ROOMS DIVISION experienced operator interested in taking on this RECRUITMENT OFFICER / AGENT / HR position at a well-known wine estate in Stellenbosch. Due to expanding business operations, the employer will be splitting the current recruitment efforts for better focus and efficiency within the growing accommodation facilities and wine estate offerings.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications Required:
National Diploma in Hospitality Management or Human Resources Qualification
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Highly Computer literate in all Microsoft programmes AND
Excellent working knowledge of hotel management system such as OPERA
3-5 years’ experience within 5-star hotel properties
Proven work experience within Front Office, Reservations, Reception Management, Housekeeping, Finance and Accounts
Highly proficient in English AND Afrikaans (both oral and written)
Excellent computer typing and formatting skills with excellent report writing abilities.
Additional Foreign language a huge benefit but not essential
HR and Recruitment qualification and experience a huge advantage

Key Performance Areas:
Liaise and coordinate with department heads regarding JOB VACANCIES
Create and develop JOB SPECIFICATIONS for various positions within the hotel division
Compile targeted ADVERTISEMENTS for all job vacancies.
Load and monitor all VACANCY POSTS and set-up effective monitoring protocols
Assess and screen all APPLICATIONS and respond to candidates
Conduct thorough SELECTION PROCESS, INTERVIEWING and ASSESSMENT
Follow-up with all REFERENCE CHECKS, criminal and credit checks on short-listed candidates.
Supervise and control all interviews with department heads.
Conduct further assessment and testing if needed.
Compile written feedback to applicants as well as reports for management.
