Fund Accountant with minimum 3 years’ experience, required to perform asset administration of local and offshore Portfolios, for this leading FSP, based in Cape Town’s Southern Suburbs.

Minimum requirements:
• Grade 12
• Relevant tertiary qualification preferred
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role essential
• Technical and business skills required re pricing and valuations of portfolios
• Strong systematic approach to duties and advanced numerical understanding, dealing with advanced calculations required
• Must be willing to work extended hours when required

Responsibilities:
• Asset administration for local and offshore Portfolios
• Fund Accounting/Asset pricing reports
• Pricing and review oh in-house administered portfolios
• Perform daily valuation and pricing of portfolios
• Process and review all inputs into the pricing process
• Process all portfolio and instrument corporate events
• Perform pricing process
• Review outputs of pricing process to identify exceptions and anomalies
• Resolve all exceptions
• Ad-hoc analysis to investigate queries
• Perform independent oversight reviews
• Effect trading and settlement process for local and offshore Funds of Funds
• Effect settlement for local and offshore Equities, Fixed Interest and Derivative instruments
