MANAGEMENT COUPLE: RANGER & FOH
Management Couple needed for a luxurious family owned lodge in Limpopo South Africa
This young vibrant team needs to have loads of energy and be 100% committed to running a lodge at a very high standard and who loves to spoil guests, ensuring they have an excellent stay. They must have excellent interpersonal skills.
Must be very hard working, warm & friendly, well spoken & well presented

HE: RANGER
REQUIREMENTS:
• Valid RSA Drivers Licence & PDP
• FGASA 2 preferred
• DEAT registration (Limpopo)
• First Aid
• ARH
• Full trails (or close hours logged)
• Police competency

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Daily Game drives
• Daily bush walks
• Hosting
• Guest activity
• General maintenance assistance of lodge buildings, pools & surrounds
• Managing the maintenance/gardener team & trackers

HE SHOULD BE:
• Mature & Responsible
• Strong leadership abilities
• Previous Big 5 and 5 Star Lodge experience
• Positive attitude & approach toward team work
• Hands on approach towards guest experience
• Ability to take initiative and problem solving
• Excellent guest interaction skills
• Good interpersonal attributes dealing with fellow staff members
• Passionate & pro-active towards personal growth and training
• Sober habits
• Neat & Presentable appearance
• Strong work ethic and no party politics

SHE: FOH & ADMIN

REQUIREMENTS:
• Administration, accounts and stock control.
• Quality control of food, food presentation and service and overseeing menus.
• HR – being in charge of a small team of housekeepers
• Motivating staff and leading them.
• Minimum 2-4 years in Front of House
• Supervisory position in 4-5 star establishments
• Must have grade 12 and be computer literate
• Excellent sales & customer care skills
• Strong admin skills
• Knowledge of Stock control in bar, food & curios departments
• Have good organizational skills
• Drivers licence and PDP a bonus


SHE SHOULD:
• Excellent Guest liaison skills
• Have a strong eye for detail with regards to all lodge rooms, service & food
• Be a strong all rounder that can manage the lodge without supervision
• Be able to inspire staff and train current and new staff in a gentle manner
• Polite, friendly person that can think on her feet
• Strong work ethic and no party politics
• Experience within the lodge, camp or hotel industry
• Well-spoken and well presented
• Resilient & flexible
• Strong leadership and communication skills – verbal and written
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Manage guest delight events with passion
• Have an attitude of spoiling guests
• Able to add value to the team by ensuring that company policy and procedure is carried out and by bringing a very solid service ethic to the Lodge
