Minimum Requirements:

GCC Mine Manager Certificate
B Tech/B Sci Degree in Mining Engineering
Two years supervisory experience necessary
Six years mine engineering and operations experience necessary
Valid code B Driving License

Job Description:

Optimizing functional processes;
Providing direction for strategic functions;
Ensure Statutory compliance;
Map and roll out approved changes as well as oversee and monitor;
Analyse mining operational plan and production stats;
Use operations effectiveness model;
Add to functional planning;
Keep up with micro- and macro-economic conditions;
Interpret production asset performance trends against required objectives, use corrective actions as required;
Use cost control systems;
Communicate with Internal and external stakeholders;
Supply highly specialised support to the various stakeholders;
Contribute to the workforce planning process;
Involvement in Team development and training.
