A well-established company within the Conveyor Engineering Industry based in Boksburg is looking to employ a Gearbox Fitter.

Job Description
Fitting of bearings, gears and coupling to shafts.
Assembling of gears for worm gears, spiral bevel gears and helical gears
Industrial gearboxes: strip, assess & assemble.
On-site work with field maintenance when needed.
Follow up of parts and spares when needed.
Collection of parts from stores.
Ensure that all quality requirements are adhered to during repairs and fitment of gearboxes.
Good housekeeping.
Adhere to company Health and Safety Standards and Procedures.
Perform general tasks that may be required from time-to-time.
Adhere to all company policies.

Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a qualified Fitter on gearboxes
Red Seal Fitter Qualification
