Westvaal Group, a dynamic motor dealership group in North West, Free State, Mpumalanga, Western Cape & Limpopo as well as Gauteng, requires a suitable candidate for the position of General HR Manager situated in Nelspruit.
Duties / Responsibilities:
Responsible for the Human Resources administration function at Operational Level for specific assignments within the Group of Companies
Develop and maintain statistical reports and analysis thereof to culminate into data dashboards.
Act as a conduit between the Group HR Manager and all other internal and external role-players acting as an ambassador for the business.
Effectively handle all people, systems and operational related conflict with sustainable solutions within the standarised vision of the Group of companies
Stay abreast of Labour Law, Acts and other relevant Bargaining Council’s, Unions and Seta’s pertaining to the Motor Industry.
Acting as Chairperson in disciplinaries and representing the business at the DRC or CCMA with the necessary due diligence
Promote, support and develop business alignment with transformational goals on all equity platforms by also serving on the Equity and Training Committee’s
Comply to all Legislative reporting by administering an effective data bank.
Implement and monitor Group standarised policies and procedures and upkeep of document libraries.
Assist with workforce planning and ensure a relevant contractual relationship with employees.
Administer the Payroll, benefit funds and all related financial schedules accurately and ensuring timeous payments as well as monthly payroll audit checks.
Calculating and administering Performance incentives, bonusses and increases within the relevant time frames.
Partake in projects to plan, organize and monitor talent development, performance appraisals, discipline, health and safety.
Qualifications and Experience:
Relevant Bachelor’s Degree (3years) or Diploma/NQF Level 6 credits
Proven track record as a HR Manager, Minimum 3 years’ experience
Proven Knowledge, understanding and application of HR related legislations.
Advanced Excel reporting and analytical skills, able to perform data dashboards.
Knowledgeable on VIP People an added advantage
