Exciting new sports club requires the services of Opererations Assistants interested in and participating in sport, specifically racket ball

Club is in Johannesburg Area.

To start Immediately

Duties & Responsibilities

Main responsibiities:

Pro shop/Merchandise
Manage stock control/correct pricing
Ensure attractiveness of pro shop
Facilitate sales of merchandise in pro shop and racket rentals

Club infrastructure

Assist with maintenance of courts and clubs (glass cleaning, sweeping of courts etc)
Ensure seating/socialsing area is clean and optimal

Clients and club environment

Assist and manage client bookings on Playtomic booking system
Issuing vouchers to clients where appropriate
Create a welcoming, healthy and fun environment for players
Build and maintain strong relationships with players at all levels
Foster Epic culture and values throughout the club
Assist clients before, during and after matches by collecting balls and taking drinks orders and anything else they may require

Events and initiatives

Assist with arranging and facilitating
- socials (ladies/members/mens/mixed)
- tournaments
- clinics (kids/adults)
- corporate/birthday events

Marketing

Work with social media consultant to promote club and initiatives on sm
Arrange other marketing initiatives (advertising, PR, promotions)
Act as ambassador for club

Utilisation

Maximise utiliation rates of courts

Appearance and reliability

Demonstrate reliability and punctuality
Maintain presentable appearance and demeanor

Desired Experience & Qualification
Min 3 years relevant operational experience
Hospitality, Club operations experience preferred.
Computer Literate
Own car essential
Reside in South of Johannesburg area or close by
Interested and participation in club sport preferable (racket sports)

Package & Remuneration
Permanent position

R8K - R12 K per month (plus shift allowances and possibly commission)
Availability from Monday to Sunday (shifts to be scheduled)
