Reconciliations, Reporting reviews and sign-off
Monthly reconciliation of volumes mined, stockpiles, dispatched, tonnages fed to the plant, products produced and tons dispatched.
Present daily and monthly stockpile report containing volumes, , temperature of stockpiles, qualities of individual stockpiles and weighted average qualities etc.
Review and sign off the loss or gain report comparing volumes predicted as per geological model vs volumes obtained as per survey report over the mined area (cookie cut basis).
All discard generated from the plant l must be placed separately for re-washing and signed off as middlings for re-wash.
All final discard with >70% ash must be declared as final discard, signed off and stockpiled separately.
Prepare and submit Daily/monthly Crushing and or Screening operations report. Review survey certificates for the same verify densities of stockpiles and sign off the same.
Maintain and update the geological database at all times. Capture and update face sampling and any drilling data into the geological database.
Interpret and identify any structures, dolerites, intrusions etc and advise the Mine Manager immediately on indication or discovery of the same with proposed corrective action.
Plan and conduct any in-pit, in-fill exploration drilling required along with logging, sampling, analysis and update of geological database and block model.
Prepare incidents register where all security incidents status, action points and polygraph register are recorded.These registers will help provide an immediate snapshot of the status of the incidents/investigations
Ensure that a drill grid pattern of less than 250m per borehole is maintained at all times.
Generate and implement any Stand Operating Procedures required for all the activities of the Grade Controller.
Pit Geology, Grade Control:
Ensure that the mining contractor does not undermine or overmine and that the mining loses are limited to a maximum of 2.5% on top contact and bottom contact of the seam.
Ensure that the mining contractor conducts mining in a manner that no/minimal loss occurs in the corners of the pit/block.
Ensure that the mining contractor conducts mining in a manner that no contamination takes place during mining
Geological Sample collection including pit face sampling, ROM composite, dispatch to the laboratory and updating quantity and quality in block model in comparison to the geological model.
Monitor and supervise loading, movement and ensure correct is tipped at correct stockpile area.

Maximum size of stockpile is limited to 2000 tons and there is break between stockpiles.
Ensure adequate space for stockpiling of ROM is available at the ROM pads based on the production from the pit and dispatch from the mine.
Build and manage stockpiles as per product requirements of the marketing team.
Present a l stockpiling plan for approval on a monthly basis.

All stockpile areas to be marked and have a sign board.
