The ideal candidate should have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work demonstrating their passion for illustrative designs, offer innovative ideas and visually execute dynamic concepts.

THE ROLE

The Giant Bounce SA is a fast growing events company, This role oversees the company's interactions with the public through implementing content strategies on social media platforms. Their duties include analyzing engagement data, identifying potential opportunities to expand presence and engagement in the social media space, managing all social interactions, and identifying and managing any social media threats to ensure brand protection in the social media sphere.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Full time

Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions

Curate content that will appeal to our audience to share on social (relevant blog/news coverage, user generated content, event photos)

Research and build relationships with bloggers/influencers/communities who share a similar audience for awareness generating opportunities

Social Media campaign building, monitoring, and ad creation (organic and paid)

Reporting on all social media channel activities

Define most important social media KPIs

Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy

Measure the success of every social media campaign

Social media trends analysis and recommendations

Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization

Develop influencer and brand advocacy network

Maximize ROI of social media campaigns

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Grade 12/Matric

At least 3 years experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.

A degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or marketing will be beneficial

SKILLSET REQUIRED

Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and other social media best practices

Comprehensive insight into social media monitoring resources and metrics

Customer Service – provide exceptional customer service experience

Community Management – asking the appropriate questions to facilitate engagement

Excellent multitasking skills

Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills

Project Management

Must be creative, adaptable to trends and able to conceptualize original ideas

PACKAGE & REMUNERATION
Market related salary : R20 000 - R25 000 per month (Negotiable)
