Group Development Chef position available with Restaurant franchise in Gauteng. Looking for a driven ambitious candidate with a formal culinary qualification. 5+ Years chef experience in a development / production role required. Knowledge of pastries and baked good essential, ability to bake and create desserts a plus. (Not looking for a pastry chef) Duties include product / recipe development, food quality control across the group as well as staff training and development. Must have a strong understanding of food cost and cost control systems. Looking for someone with knowledge of the latest trends on the food and pastry scene. Must have extensive health & safety knowledge. Looking for someone staying in the Jhb North area who can travel throughout Gauteng. Similar experience in a Restaurant group or franchise environment beneficial. Salary R 20000 – 25000 CTC
