RS Recruitment Services is assisting a well-established organisation in the MANUFACTURING industry to recruit a GROUP TRAINING OFFICER to be based at their offices in MOBENI. R20 000 basic salary + benefits.

ESTABLISHED IN THE EARLY 1980s, OUR CLIENT IS ONE OF SOUTH AFRICA’S LARGEST MANUFACTURERS OF BOARD PACKAGING AND PRINTING.

The ideal candidate should have/be the following:

A relevant qualification
A minimum 5 years’ experience
Zulu-speaking
Experience identifying training needs
Experience creating training programs
Be proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Key responsibilities, but not limited to:

Training:
Apply for SETA Grants
Complete Training Requisition accordingly
Arrange training accordingly: Internally & Externally
Complete and submit WSP/ATR plan

Conduct Internal Training Programmes:
Induction
HACCP Training
Soft-skills
In conjunction with Line Managers: Operating procedures/Work procedures – train & assess
Must be able to create/compile/initiate training programs – identify training needs and develop training program accordingly

Apprenticeship-program:
Apply for SETA Grant
Source suitable candidate
Interview suitable candidate
Arrange Psychometric Assessment
Manage and monitor training-program

Recruitment (General Assistant & Assistant):
Source suitable candidates
Interview suitable candidate - with Manager

COVID Officer:
Update COVID-report (Employees tested for COVID: Positive and/or Negative)
Conduct base-line tests of staff
Communicate COVID-protocols to employee, when going for COVID test or showing COVID symptoms

General:
Translate during meetings/counselling/hearings/notices

Employment Equity:
Committee member
Manage and update Occupational Levels
