This award winning 5-star luxury boutique hotel in Cape Town offers accommodation in the adjacent 36 private villas and presidential apartments on the V&A Waterfront and are looking for a highly polished, presentable, professional and articulate candidate to take on Guest Liaison and guest relations responsibilities at the front desk. In additional to welcoming, hosting, checking-in and reception responsibilities, the candidate is required to manage the front office and evening operations of the front desk including end of day & night shift duties.
This client is ideally looking for candidates with overseas experience and above average communication skills with a professional yet welsoming personality.
Requirements:
Formal 2 or 3 year Hotel Management / Front Office Diploma / Degree Qualification.
Minimum 3 to 5 years experience within 5 star boutique hotels or luxury game lodges.
Able to manage and run the front desk and control reception and reservations.
Must have exceptional communication skills, excellent writing and computer proficiency with ADVANCED proficiency in OPERA.
Familiar with overseas quests requirements and excellent knowledge of tourist and corporate infrastructure within Cape Town / South Africa.
Computer proficiency in Excel AND Word essential.
Own transport.
