Hadoop Data Ingestion Developer

They provide solutions to companies in Financial services, Manufacturing, Healthcare etc. They always strive to give their clients a competitive advantage making them one of the most admired IT companies, they are looking for a Hadoop Data Ingestion Developer to be Permanently based in Sandton. The successful Candidate will be responsible for development and support expert with responsibility for the design, development, automation, testing, support and administration of the Enterprise Infrastructure Big Data Service
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Must have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
Must have a minimum of 8 years’ experience within an application development environment
Must have Strong SQL query experience
Must have practical and project experience in ETL products, such as SSIS, Informatica Must have Project experience in relational databases such as MS SQL, Oracle, DB2, MySQL
Must have knowledge of SCSS/LESS/TypeScript - having worked with pre-processor languages.
Must have a Firm understanding of Apache Spark Architecture and YARN (Spark application build will not be required)
