Half Day Litigation & Arbitration Secretary


Our client, a prestigious national Legal firm based in the CBD, seeks to appoint a Legal Secretary on a half-day basis within the Litigation and Arbitration Department. The successful incumbent will assist the Director and Associate with all administration and secretarial related functions.

Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 12.
• A legal secretarial Diploma will be advantageous.
• Minimum 3 years relevant working experience.
• Ability to Dictaphone typing proficient.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Excellent typing skills.
• Strong emphasis on accuracy and detail orientated.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Deadline orientated.
• Ability to take initiative.

Responsibilities:
• Dictaphone typing and formatting
• File administration and filing
• Prepare monthly invoices
• Prepare monthly reports for clients in respect of collection matters
• Debtor control and collection
• Diary administration
• Client relations and correspondence
• New client administration
• FICA administration
• Follow up on outstanding requirements, making general client calls.
• Attend to telephonic and email queries and requests from clients
• Closing of files.
