Job Description: As a HardwareTest Engineer, you will have several responsibilities that include; specification and development of analog and mixed signal test programs for complex IC microcontroller devices, the design of test equipment, R&D testing, production testing, test analysis and writing test scripts.
You must be able to understand and interpret analog- and digital schematics, taking a new product and providing a turnkey solution of software and hardware to enter a mass production environment. The role will involve liaising with test facilities globally as well as managing the product validation, characterization and the qualification process.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Design, implement and test software modules using C/Assembly language in an embedded environment
• Algorithm development using MATLAB/C#/C++/C
• Provide reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem-solving techniques
• Ability to find technical root cause and corrective action for given problems
• Demonstrate ability to complete well defined moderately complex tasks and/or projects
• Participate in peer reviews in areas of software designs, algorithm designs and software development • Contribute towards software requirements, software architectures and software test plans
• Offer process improvement suggestions
• May be required to travel to USA, Canada and Taiwan

Qualifications: M.Eng Electronics

Skills Required:
• Embedded microprocessor development experience (e.g. Microchip PIC, STM8, STM32)
• PCB design
• Scripting (e.g. Python) & C Programming
You must be self-motivated, be able to plan their own work and carry projects from start to finish.
