Pick Me Recruitment is looking for an experienced Head Chef on a historic wine estate in the Stellenbosch Winelands.
The perfect candidate is someone with excellent culinary skills and strong operational skills, is resourceful, creative and up to date with current culinary trends. The role is to oversee and manage the daily kitchen operations.

Key Duties & Minimum Requirements:

• A diploma in professional cookery
• Ensure consistent food quality being served
• Previous experience as a Head Chef
• Excellent inventory management
• Valid driver's license and own reliable transport
• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
• Excellent control of food cost, wastage, and kitchen preparation
• Guest liaison
• Continued staff training and development
• Responsible for the smooth running of the daily kitchen operations also ensuring preparation and hygiene cycles are actively monitored and executed

Remuneration: R25 000
